For residents on GMT at least ^^;; Time flying for you? Definitely has been for me – especially on my otaku side, getting back into anime and starting up a figure collection.

Ah yes, and before I get into my random ramblings, the contest is now closed! Yet another anomaly in my collection. Good ‘ol 關羽 雲長 {kanu unchou} is not my favorite character by a long shot, yet I now have 3 versions of her… two of which are in the > 一万(10000)円 range. Wholy hot damn though, I am very pleased this Daiki Kougyou release.
No regrets here… yes it was painful to drop 50-100% more on her than a ‘normal’ 1/6 but she’s reaaaaally nice. Detailed outfit? Check. Detailed hair? Check. Wielding a weapon? Check. Cast-off? Check. Oppai? Check and check.
I’m tired and didn’t go through the trouble of making separate censored pics, so this review is NSFW, proceed at your own risk, yadda yadda ^^;

Ate too much. Ugh. No seriously, starting on Christmas eve I was in pain for at least 48 hours from eating so much. My parents have a horrible tendency to leave a mountain of sweets/snacks out during the holidays, and if my preorders are any indication, I don’t always deal well with temptation ^^;
Anyhow, back at home from a very catty Christmas and time to get back to figures, anime, manga, and games ^^;

Just barely in before the year end, three arrivals I’ve been eagerly awaiting!
Alter KOS-MOS, Alpha Omega konjiki no yami and Griffon’s sasara! Of the three, I’m especially relieved to get konjiki no yami, as my original pre-order was canceled on me. Thankfully she turned up at Hobby Search (sold out again almost instantly shortly thereafter ^^;) and now she’s here, taiyaki and all!

So my 2nd miku arrived and I plan to proceed with the giveaway! It’s a winter giveaway, not Christmas since there’s no way I’ll have it out before the holidays. Anyhow here’s how I’m gonna do things (wholy crap this is a long rules list -_- but please read it over carefully and take your time – there’s no rush (i.e. there is no ‘first person to get the answer wins’ sort of thing)…

Queen’s Blade (figure) fan? Megahouse afficionado? Been looking for Nyx? Looking for a deal? If you answered yes to all of those questions, head right over and go buy Nyx at hlj now. Seriously, stop reading and go buy her. She’s on sale for only 2500￥. Dunno if that’s old news, but the instant I saw that price all I could think was wholy crap, and the next thing I knew my order was placed. Even if you only answered yes to a couple of those questions, still worth considering because of the discount.

After accumulating so many preorders I didn’t think I’d be putting up the premium for a special nendoroid… But in the end I had to get the dengeki daiou limited shana… after all she comes with melonpan!
Real melonpan not included ^^;
Got her through Tokyo Hunter, highly recommended if you’re ever looking for limited/rare figures. At the time of this post, he still had some for auction if your’re lookin’ to snag your own.
