Well, not my house, but my parents’, where I was visiting this weekend. Ended up playing more touhou (eosd, pcb & in), reading 我が家のお稲荷さま (wagaya no oinarisama), and getting some use out of my camera ^^ Just random shots with my macro lens so no akiba-kei content today. Cats included for the lulz thou
A good reminder that I’m a total beginner, especially when not shooting figures ^^; Dealing with widely varying lighting conditions, looking for interesting shots … have a lot to learn orz

Apologies to readers who grew accustomed to my previous content and graciously frequent this site expecting more… Business trips and touhou have torn up my previous posting groove and all I have to offer tonite is more self indulgent touhou talk. If my touhou babblings aren’t of interest, please do take a second to vote in the poll before you go.
For those that remain, I 1cc’d eosd again! And again and again! In three consecutive playthroughs I was able to down remilia with reimuB, reimuA, and marisaA. That means I’ve unlocked the extra stage for everyone so now I can try someone else after rage quitting with marisaB ^^;

A touhou gem I stumbled upon at niconico. Incredibly kawaii~ touhou 4-koma by colonel aki. niconico user 零壱 (old style characters for 01 so… reiichi i guess?) set the comics to music and made wonderful video versions. First one below or click for niconico.
Most of the text is just for comic titles so you don’t need to know Japanese to appreciate it… though being touhou, it would help to be familiar with the characters ^^; Mostly focuses Sakuya’s daily life (hence the title) and the residents of the 紅魔館 (koumakan – Scarlet Devil Mansion).

I think I’m in the minority, but I loved it ^^; Guess that’s just me living the yotsuba way, “Enjoy Everything”. ^^;

Could they have used those episodes to more effectively dole out haruhi goodness? Well, certainly. Was it an utter disappointment to countless fans across the globe? No doubt. Was there anyone involved who actually supported the insanity? Not the seiyuu nor many others it seems.

Another late review, though only by a couple weeks this time. Yoko! Including a nendoroid this marks my third yoko… I’ve got a long way to go before even coming close to Dancing Queen’s epic yoko collection (linked is one of her recent reviews which has links to a bunch of her other yoko photo sessions).

Subaru actually kinda soured my initial StrikerS impression… roller blades & headband… felt like I was transported back to the 80s or something ^^; Took quite a few episodes but I eventually got into her character. Then a certain something around episode 17… totally sold after that ^^

Let’s see, about 10 days since my last post? In those 10 days, 3 were spent in Vegas, 2 in Phoenix… still very very tired ^^; May be heading out on another business trip soon but hopefully I’ll at least get in a weekend before that happens ^^;;
‘cuz of all that I haven’t gotten around to too much… though I did play a buncha touhou :P Also started translating some stuff on the wiki… the Highly Responsive to Prayers (touhou 1) manual has been meronpanized.
I’m sure many of you are tired of touhou… so I’ve got a little figure stuff to post on! But just a preview, reviews to come in future posts :P

Well, so it took about a month and I had to settle for starting with 5 lives, but I’ve cleared my first touhou without continuing!! Figures after I go telling punynari how I like using reimuB that I actually beat the game with marisaB ^^;
