Narika hails from 超昂閃忍ハルカ (choukou sennnin haruka) ~ Beat Blades Haruka, an eroge by Alicesoft and recently released eroanime. Hadn’t expected this follow up release by Alter, seeing as how haruka had been ready to order just 2 months after the game went on sale late last February (2008). Yet again I would like to voice my desire for a subaru figure!!! (she’s the third heroine in the game). At any rate, back to the girl at hand!

Dunno how many random posts covering a variety of topics I’ve done, so this one has been labeled version epsilon for no reason. Quick Japanese vocab lesson: 色々＝＝いろいろ＝＝iroiro == various. As a na-adjective you’d say iroirona [something] to say “various [something]“. In casual speech this is often contracted to 色んな＝＝いろんな==ironna.
Anyhow, today it’s figures, anime, and touhou again.

Subaru actually kinda soured my initial StrikerS impression… roller blades & headband… felt like I was transported back to the 80s or something ^^; Took quite a few episodes but I eventually got into her character. Then a certain something around episode 17… totally sold after that ^^

Let’s see, about 10 days since my last post? In those 10 days, 3 were spent in Vegas, 2 in Phoenix… still very very tired ^^; May be heading out on another business trip soon but hopefully I’ll at least get in a weekend before that happens ^^;;
‘cuz of all that I haven’t gotten around to too much… though I did play a buncha touhou :P Also started translating some stuff on the wiki… the Highly Responsive to Prayers (touhou 1) manual has been meronpanized.
I’m sure many of you are tired of touhou… so I’ve got a little figure stuff to post on! But just a preview, reviews to come in future posts :P

Not that there wasn’t anything I wanted, but rather I had been shielding my wallet from damage ^^; Was going rather nicely for the last month or so but leave it to Alter to bust it open again…

Back at Hobby Search I found myself adding figures to my cart ^^; Ah nanoha. No way I could pass her up. Series is named after her! With all the bits flying around her, I really have no idea where to put both her and fate orz. *ahem* Sorry blowfish, I’ll try to keep the nanoha bits to a minimum :P

From the game 斬魔大聖デモンベイン (zanma taisei demonbein – using wikipedia‘s rough translation…Demon-Slaying Grand Saint Demonbane)… Metatron!
The game was worthy of a PS2 release and anime, though to be honest I don’t really know anything about any version ^^; Saw the preview pics, noted that she was by Alter and preordered ^^;

Just finished a massive 200 shot (well, massive for me at any rate) review session. The trick to a nice white background still eludes me.
Above you can see I tried out the fabric background again, curious if the new lights would help in that endeavor. I guess it did, however my lack of ironing again rears its ugly head.

Senhime comes from the eroge 戦国ランス (sengoku rance), and is brought to us in 1/8 form today by Alter. You may notice they list her as 戦姫 on the Alter figure page, whereas the official site (the specific page link is sfw, although if you start browsing around I’m sure it will quickly become nsfw. it’s an eroge site, people!) lists her as 千姫. Both read ‘senhime’, and the second character is the same in both (hime == princess)… but the first character is ‘war’ or ‘fighting’ in Alter’s spelling and ’1000′ in the official site’s. She’s a fighting girl so evidently 戦姫 (war princess) is her nickname.
I haven’t played any of the rance games, so I don’t know much firsthand… a little poking around web suggests that she’s involved with the Tokugawas. In the game I suppose you probably have your way with her after capturing a territory or something? I believe sengoku rance is one of those strange products that are ero but could perhaps make it in the non-ero market like eien no aseria. Looks like some sort of strategy game, but if you’re more interested in the… hmmm… ‘cut scenes’ I believe there’s a variety of resources out there, such as gelbooru (nsfw). Anyhow, let’s get back to the figure :P

A little less heavy on the images lately. On the plus side that means faster turn around for reviews. This post is sfw, assuming pantsu shots are sfw :P
