Finally back! It’s been a while since I”ve taken a trip that lasted so long. Was really getting home sick (and then actually sick ;_;) towards the end, especially with such a long anticipated release sitting my room. Without further ado, alter’s feito-chan!

Alrighty, tore myself away from Dragon Age long enough for a fate review ^^; Was actually surprised almost half the people in the poll said they didn’t know what it was – if you were wondering it’s an epic rpg by Bioware set in a fantasy world under siege by evil forces known as Darkspawn. Read more at the main site if you’re interested ^^ Anyhow, back to fate~
A massive 1/4 entry from Good Smile Company to accompany their previous Nanoha release. Like most 1/4 pvc releases, nothing spectacular in the detail department but her size alone makes her an interesting addition to any collection ^^

Woulda loved for this to be a review of Alter’s release, but alas gonna have to wait a bit longer for that. Nope, today is Volks’ take on feito-chan’s shin-sonic form. She’s 1/7, ~8000 yen, and not bad!

Hands down the most negatively received figure I’ve ever previewed but let’s finish up a full review for CM’s Corporation’s Fate Testarossa ^^;
If you’re reading about this release for the first time, you might ask, why all the fuss? First and foremost I’d say is the price. As previously mentioned, she retails for over 10,000 yen. That fact alone kills the figure for most. If not, there’s the issue of her appearance. Most don’t really think she does Fate justice, adding further insult to injury. On the other hand, if you’re looking for a decently scaled posable version of Fate… your options are kind of limited.

So WonHobby wasn’t quite what I expected, but despite the painful 2 hour (3 hours?) wait… it was worth it to see…

The nendoroid miku was another figure I scrambled to pick up after my collection started earlier this year… and again, out of stock everywhere, hard to find, etc. etc. -_-. I was suspicious when I did find a store that let me order her, but I went with it since I didn’t have any other options at the time. …and whaddya know, July came around and my miku was nowhere to be seen ;_; However…

Hlj to the rescue! Soon as I figured out my shipment was delayed I looked around and hlj had her in stock! They also had a couple other things in stock so I kind of went overboard…
