Finally! Meant to have this review out a lot earlier but azunyan love & vn02 pushed it out a bit. Above I was actually going for a full on silhouette but didn’t execute the lighting properly… ended up pasting a bw version of the pic over the original then just erasing over the flame to add some color… turned out ok maybe i guess? ^^; lemme know whacha think

Index! Alas, the poor thing seems to fall out of her role as a main character despite having the series named after her ^^; Maybe it’s that pity that got me to buy her :P Anyhow, we’ve got Good Smile Company’s 1/8 release here today, and I’d say it’s a solid get for her fans.

Another figure for vocaloid lovers, world is mine miku! Like BRS, this interpretation of her comes from a well received supercell release. Well… technically i think i heard that brs wasn’t actually based off miku…? Anyhow, on with the review~

Like Fate, I was lucky to have the opportunity to see BRS in person at wonhobby 9. Unfortunately at the time I had no idea who she was or what the big deal was.
Even after getting into miku music and niconico, brs isn’t my favorite or anything, though she did grow on me a little…
But after doing this review, I’m definitely into the figures! Ended up liking this one a lot more than I expected ^^

Alrighty, tore myself away from Dragon Age long enough for a fate review ^^; Was actually surprised almost half the people in the poll said they didn’t know what it was – if you were wondering it’s an epic rpg by Bioware set in a fantasy world under siege by evil forces known as Darkspawn. Read more at the main site if you’re interested ^^ Anyhow, back to fate~
A massive 1/4 entry from Good Smile Company to accompany their previous Nanoha release. Like most 1/4 pvc releases, nothing spectacular in the detail department but her size alone makes her an interesting addition to any collection ^^

Wasn’t actually going for the wet look, but wanted to wash off the figures i was going to shoot and didn’t want to go through the trouble of drying them/waiting for them to dry.

Well, she’s finally here. If I remember there was quite a fuss when she was announced and for good reason. Great pose, great costume, great character ^^ Personally very pleased how she turned out, didn’t really spot any flaws to complain about. Update: figure.fm version of the review is up (fewer pics, but they are displayed at 900 pixel width in the post. Though if you want high rez, I have included 1920×1280 versions of a handful of the pics in this review post (mostly the wallpaper-ish pics))

Continuing to review older releases until some new orders arrive ^^; Looks like tama-nee is released but I had combined her with the delayed moka so she probably won’t ship until July orz. Anyhow, thought miku was fitting since lately I’ve been watching so many vocaloid videos on niconico ^^;
