Man, some of these pics are almost a month old! Better late than never? Meh, anyhow on with the review!

Another figure spurred by my set completion sickness. Truth be told, I probably wouldn’t have went for her if I didn’t have the dark elf already…

…Though I am a big sucker for figures with detailed armor/outfits like we have here ^^;

Someday I should do some basic research on the character… like… is this the default armor the character is rendered with for promotional stuff? Or a classic set of armor people normally associate with the mage class?

And I don’t quite understand what’s going on with tights on one leg and the other leg looking so glossy…

Do like the glyph or whatever markings on her legs are…

It’s true she lacks moe, and her face doesn’t grab me as much as the dark elf does… on the other hand it’s nice to have a little variation in the collection ^^;

I appreciate the effort they put into the base to make it a bit more interesting… but the brown and green doesn’t really appeal to me… feels kinda bland and barfy ^^;;

As covered previously, human mage has no pupils…

No problems with the oshiri :P

I suppose one could try doing a custom paint job? Mebbe? Alas I know nothing of how feasible that would be…

Given the coloring of the base, I kinda wish they stuck with something that matched the dark elf base…

Not so much to say today, maybe I’m just tired from my trip (had to go to Arizona for the day) ^^;; Work has been pretty busy, and lots of waking up early == tsukareta~

In unrelated news, alpha omega’s konjiki no yami came in stock at hobby search! nyohoho, problem averted! and in related unrelated news… kid nemo contacted me because they got sairenji in stock, and asked if I wanted to reorder. … soooo two months ago they were unsure of the stock enough to cancel on me only to have it come in after all? -_- this is not the reliability i’m looking for. Goes without saying I let them know I had already ordered her from another store.

Anyhow, back to the review of the day, stop by super rats for more mage love (really wish I had some other backgrounds, the black looks so much better…), danny choo and foo-bar-baz also have her… do you have a review? let me know~

Pictured above are some new arrivals, I’ll be wrapping up this post with the oppai omake so scroll to the end if that’s what you’re here for ^^; I guess suzu qualifies for oppai omake material but narika is definitely pettanko ^^;; At any rate, really happy to finally get these two as it brings to a close another long drama with Kid Nemo. As you probably know, both of these figures were released ages ago and after recently asking for an order status update, all I got back was, release date TBA. I’d had enough so after a cancellation and order at hlj, had the figures in about a week.

I’ve got this whole week off (forced vacation… so I get paid… but had to use up some vacation time -_-) so I’ve been able to make more progress than usual on reviews. Vita will be next…

Followed by Human Mage.

Thanksgiving is coming up and I’ll be heading back home to spend some time with family so I’ll probably be off the radar later in the week.  Also working on the next Japanese reading lesson which will cover 15 kana!

Alrighty, and now for oppai omake!  Wasn’t sure if I should censor or not, ended up doing so – click the pics to get an uncensored full size version.

First up is our mage, you may already know that her eyes have no pupils!  Very strange decision, makes me wonder why they bothered with the cast off at all… I suppose you could keep her top on and display her without the skirt?

Next up is Kanu. The cast off is actually pretty simple, her shirt separates into a front and back half which is (relatively) easy to then get off. Kanu shows us oppai done right.

Kanu’s got an unsightly seam at her waist to get her skirt off, so if I were gonna display her impressive oppai, I’d probably leave the skirt just like the above pic.

Finally, Airi!  Again, I must say I was pleasantly surprised with her.  She looks great, instantly made a Megahouse fan out of me.

At first I was sad I couldn’t find her black outfit, but ended up very happy I got this version. Love the hair color.

Pantsu for good measure.

Actually arrived yesterday… but I forgot the package at work! orz Made sure to bring her home today ^^;  As usual, the full review will have to wait until I get some time, so just these couple teaser shots for now.

November’s turning out to be a great month… more goodies in the mail, though I’m not really sure where everyone’s gonna go. Bookshelves don’t have too much space left…

Detolf has been maxed out for a while…

and now my desk is being overrun ^^;

…not to mention the unsightly stack of boxes by my bed.

gah.  and this problem is only gonna get worse in the coming months ^^;

Reviews take me such a long time I doubt I’ll get through my backlog even with a vacation coming up.  How long does it normally take you?  I usually take about 1-2 hours for photos, another 30 min – hour for editing (depending on how distracted I get since I usually put some anime on while I do that ^^;), followed by a final hour or two to get the post written.
