gaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! touhou rant engage.
i don’t know if i used up all my touhou patience on eosd or what but pcb is driving me crazy. frikkin can’t capture any of yuyuko’s cards regularly… usually in practice mode i get down to like 2 or 3 lives (at best) clearing stage 6 -_- youmu in stage 5 is only marginally better… and with both the worst part is i am back to terrible death bombing rates, dying with bombs in stock left and right. orz

Was looking into acquiring my first touhou figure (desires rekindled thanks to punynari) when I stumbled upon this release by kotobukiya. I didn’t get sucked into the touhou world until summer so it was completely off my radar. Decided it fit the bill and ordered at Hobby Stock through Goody Japan.

Apologies to readers who grew accustomed to my previous content and graciously frequent this site expecting more… Business trips and touhou have torn up my previous posting groove and all I have to offer tonite is more self indulgent touhou talk. If my touhou babblings aren’t of interest, please do take a second to vote in the poll before you go.
For those that remain, I 1cc’d eosd again! And again and again! In three consecutive playthroughs I was able to down remilia with reimuB, reimuA, and marisaA. That means I’ve unlocked the extra stage for everyone so now I can try someone else after rage quitting with marisaB ^^;

A touhou gem I stumbled upon at niconico. Incredibly kawaii~ touhou 4-koma by colonel aki. niconico user 零壱 (old style characters for 01 so… reiichi i guess?) set the comics to music and made wonderful video versions. First one below or click for niconico.
Most of the text is just for comic titles so you don’t need to know Japanese to appreciate it… though being touhou, it would help to be familiar with the characters ^^; Mostly focuses Sakuya’s daily life (hence the title) and the residents of the 紅魔館 (koumakan – Scarlet Devil Mansion).

Well, so it took about a month and I had to settle for starting with 5 lives, but I’ve cleared my first touhou without continuing!! Figures after I go telling punynari how I like using reimuB that I actually beat the game with marisaB ^^;

Looks like I’ve been a little less prolific in posting this month, but I guess that’s a good thing so as not to burn myself out ^^; One big reason for the drop off in posts has been good ‘ol 東方 (touhou). This obsession is niconico’s fault. niconico -> U.N.オーエンは彼女なのか (U.N. Owen was her?) meme videos -> what’s that song from? -> omg there’s a billion touhou references everywhere -> guess I better play it.

Was happy to come home to some beautiful weather… unseasonable cool here in the bay area! Complete opposite of Tokyo… well, humidity-wise at least. Anyhow, taidami modorimashita, etc etc :P Back to posting!
In the end I spent about 48000 yen over 4 days in akiba. Luckily I’m an extremely slow shopper or I’m sure the damage would’ve been much worse ^^;
